CAIRO (AP) — Israeli forces launched airstrikes in Gaza on Monday, killing at least 74 people. The attacks included airstrikes at a seaside cafe and gunfire targeting Palestinians seeking food aid, witnesses and health officials reported.
One of the airstrikes hit Al-Baqa Cafe in Gaza City, resulting in numerous casualties. Witnesses described the scene as chaotic, with many people critically wounded and several fatalities reported.
Additional strikes in Gaza City and surrounding areas resulted in more casualties, including civilians seeking food aid. The violence has escalated, leading to a high number of casualties and destruction in the region.
