90 Day Fiancé alum Armando Niedermeier-Rubio has provided an encouraging update on the health journey of his 13-year-old daughter, Hannah.
“Hannah was released from the hospital again,” Armando, 37, shared on his Instagram Stories on Saturday, July 15. “She began experiencing a headache, weakness, and difficulty walking, and she was unsteady on her feet—symptoms the doctors advised us to monitor closely. They discovered a bit of internal swelling, so she received IV medication.”
Earlier this month, Hannah was airlifted from Mexico to a U.S. hospital after an initially unknown medical emergency. Although she was released from the facility within a few weeks, she was re-admitted on Friday, July 24, as her condition worsened.
“Thankfully, the doctors were satisfied with her response to the treatment and felt it was safe for her to leave the hospital,” Armando disclosed on Saturday. “Hannah is feeling better. Please keep praying for her healing and recovery.”
He concluded, “Thank you for continuing your thoughts and prayers. We appreciate every bit of love and support.”
Earlier this month, Armando shared that Hannah, whom he had with his late wife, unexpectedly suffered a brain bleed, causing her condition to worsen rapidly. She was quickly transferred from their small hometown in Mexico to Arizona for medical care. Armando faced visa issues, preventing him from accompanying his daughter.
“I went to the border. The hospital directly sensed the gravity of the situation, how Hannah was being airlifted to Phoenix ICU,” Armando said in a July 16 social media video. “They sent all the necessary documents to the border. When I arrived at the border, I arrived with my documents as well. Never was the letter from the hospital reviewed and never were any of my documents asked of me — nothing was checked. I was just told, ‘Nope, we do not do this here. … There’s no option for you,’ and on my way I went.”
Instead, Hannah traveled with her grandmother and aunt, who are both legal U.S. residents.
Armando eventually managed to secure an emergency visa the following day, allowing him to reunite with Hannah and his husband, Kenny Niedermeier, at the hospital. (Kenny, 63, had flown to Ohio for a funeral but was able to quickly join his stepdaughter at her bedside.)
