The Gateway Pundit has recently covered a shocking incident at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on McCandlish Rd. in Grand Blanc, MI. Initial reports indicated that between 6 to 8 victims had been hospitalized following the attack, but specific numbers remained unverified. In a dramatic turn of events, the church also caught fire, prompting an extensive four-alarm response from emergency services.

At a press conference held shortly thereafter, Grand Blanc Township Police Chief William Renye disclosed that the suspect in this heinous act was a 40-year-old man from nearby Burton, located about 60 miles north of Detroit.

According to Chief Renye, the gunman drove his vehicle directly into the church before exiting and unleashing gunfire on the congregation. Law enforcement, including an armed DNR agent, responded swiftly, fatally neutralizing the shooter in an exchange of gunfire.

As of now, 10 individuals have been confirmed as gunshot victims, with one tragically succumbing to their injuries.

Investigators are currently piecing together the grim details, asserting that the 40-year-old assailant operated alone and was armed with an assault rifle. Reports indicate that the suspect not only fired upon churchgoers but also intentionally set the building ablaze following the attack.

During the press conference, the police chief expressed concern that more victims could be discovered amid the rubble of the burning church, as it’s believed some may have been unable to escape the blaze. He noted, “We have no idea at this point how many victims might still be trapped inside.” The FBI is actively involved in the investigation to help uncover the full scope of this tragedy.
