Influencer Paola Caldera has passed away after a brave struggle with leukemia, leaving us at the young age of 30.
“Today we celebrate a radiant soul who filled our lives with her strength, love, and wisdom, even during her darkest hours,” Caldera’s family announced through TikTok last week, confirming her demise.
“Leukemia may have restricted her physical form, but the impact she made on our lives will be everlasting,” they continued. “We carry with us the lessons of her bravery, her boundless kindness, and the cherished memories that will forever stay in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Paola; your spirit will keep glowing within us all.”
Caldera’s passing comes two years after she started sharing her journey as a mother of two on social platforms. Since May 2023, she garnered over 100,000 followers on TikTok, where her candidness about battling cancer sparked considerable online engagement.
In September 2024, Caldera disclosed on Instagram her “recent diagnosis” of Acute Lymphoid Leukemia, expressing determination to fight the illness head-on. The Mayo Clinic explains that this aggressive form of leukemia affects the blood and bone marrow, resulting in the production of immature blood cells that perform inadequately.
She reached out to her followers, kindly asking “anyone with a good heart” to contribute to her GoFundMe for assistance with her escalating medical expenses.

“I seek your assistance in this fight that we intend to win,” Caldera asserted at that moment. “Every bit helps, and each donation will significantly aid my family in focusing on what truly matters—my recovery and getting back home healthy.”
Throughout the following year, Caldera shared her experiences with leukemia directly, showcasing both the challenges of hospital visits and the joyous moments spent with her children—her boys were just 8 and 3 years old when she passed away.
Paola celebrated her milestone 30th birthday in August, sharing joyful moments as a “brave warrior” and a “strong woman” in her journey.
“Thank you to everyone who remembered my birthday — I love you all!!” she expressed on Instagram on August 16, proudly displaying a photo of herself with her shaved head.
Caldera described her experience, stating she remains “the same but different, and stronger!” as she posed donning a vibrant red wig. Marking her milestone year with a cheerful array of large golden balloons, she reflected on her journey with positivity.
In her joyful spirit, Caldera remarked that the women depicted in photos two through four represented a “person who does not lose her essence” and who radiates a positive demeanor, conveying her happiness. She generously closed her heartfelt post with a video of her blowing out her birthday candles, surrounded by her loving children.
