Houston American Energy Corp. (NYSEAMERICAN:HUSA) engages in oil and gas exploration and production, while also branching out into low-carbon fuels and chemicals.

This week, the stock of Houston American Energy Corp. (NYSEAMERICAN:HUSA) declined, likely influenced by a fall in global crude oil prices. WTI crude oil futures hit a four-month low as increased output from OPEC+ and concerns regarding a potential US government shutdown continued to exert pressure on the market.

On a brighter note, Houston American Energy Corp. (NYSEAMERICAN:HUSA) has announced the commencement of production at its State Finkle Unit wells, having received initial revenue. The company revealed plans to drill six additional wells in June 2024 and has already started receiving royalties from the production of its initial wells last month.

In light of the recent decline, the stock price of Houston American Energy Corp. (NYSEAMERICAN:HUSA) has dropped over 53% since the start of 2025.
