Below Deck Mediterranean stewardess Kizzi Kitchener has opened up about her surprising dating experiences.
In the episode aired on Monday, October 6, from the popular Bravo show, Kizzi discussed her relationship with Chef Josh Bingham, revealing to the cameras, âIâm a huge flirt. I really enjoy it when the person Iâm dating has a slightly unhealthy obsession with me.â
Kizzi admitted to having certain apprehensions regarding a potential boyfriend.
âBut I donât want to be in a situation where youâre knocking on my door with a knife saying, âI want to wear your skin.â Thatâs not the type of obsession Iâm looking for,â she added. âI have a giant fear of being killed, but I also want to be treated like a princess.â
Later in the same episode, Kizzi and bosun Nathan Gallagher were spotted having a lighthearted conversation. When interviewed about her romantic life, Kizzi expressed, âWhen Iâm not dating anyone, it feels liberating to act however I please.â
“Once, I went on a date with a guy and ended up sleeping with him. Later, I discovered that he was involved in a cult,” she shared. “I donât want to delve into too much detail in case he comes after me, but Iâm pretty sure he wonât.â
This season, which kicked off last month, has brought together Aesha Scott, Captain Sandy Yawn, and newly appointed bosun Nathan. Alongside former Below Deck deckhand Max Salvador, the crew includes Chef Josh, stews Kizzi and Victoria SanJuan, and deckhands Christian Trimino and Tessa Budd.
Aesha teased, âThereâs so much happening this season. Viewers are going to be completely captivated. Last season felt repetitive with the same themes, while this season, with each charter, I found myself saying, âWhat just happened? Now this is happening!ââ
Aesha expressed her excitement about a fresh start in season 10.
âI felt like, âItâs a story from above.â So much interesting stuff kept unfolding without any toxic elements involved,â she mentioned. âItâs about real lives and family stories that are often relatable and intriguing.â
Meanwhile, Captain Sandy expressed relief at the operations running smoothly.
âIâve always felt a sense of stability. It seems the interior feels more settled this season,â she noted. âI donât have to worry about things, as itâs not about me checking if the stews are performing their roles and ensuring the guests are catered to,â she told Us. âWith Aesha on board, I know everything is running smoothlyâunless someone is obviously resistant.â
The captain expressed her hopes of continuing to lead the franchise alongside Aesha, remarking, âItâs always a pleasure having her on board. Sheâs one of the kindest people Iâve ever metâaside from [my wife]. She really is exceptional, and I have faith in her abilities, which significantly impacts our operations.â
Below Deck Med airs on Bravo every Monday at 8 p.m. ET, with new episodes available the following day on Peacock.
