Mexican pop icon Gloria Trevi is set to offer her followers an “unfiltered” perspective on her life and career through an upcoming docuseries titled “La Trevi Sin Filtro.” The premiere episode will be accessible for free streaming on ViX starting October 24, with subsequent episodes available via the platform’s premium subscription service.
This latest installment of the “Sin Filtro” series, developed by Sebastian Jimenez of JK Media, has been authorized by ViX. The docuseries chronicles Trevi’s experiences as she embarks on her “Mi Soundtrack” world tour, capturing both her live performances and the challenges she faces along the way.
“My life and career have often been public, but typically portrayed through others’ perspectives,” Trevi shared. “Frequently, by individuals who don’t even know me! This series serves as an opportunity to reveal who I am today: on tour, at home, with my family, pursuing my passion, and embracing everything around me—from the chaos to the joy that inspires my music and life. It’s raw, authentic, and undeniably me: ‘Unfiltered!’”
This venture marks Trevi’s second collaboration with ViX, following her scripted novela “Ella Soy Yo,” which became one of the platform’s top-viewed series in 2024. The series is brought to life by Trevi, Jimenez, and Flavio Morales as executive producers, alongside showrunner Mirtha Miranda.
“Gloria Trevi’s journey resonates across various generations of music enthusiasts and within the music industry itself,” remarked Jimenez. “She is regarded as the original ‘Diva of Latin Pop.’ Her life story is rich with numerous transformations that render her exceptionally intriguing. She embodies the essence of invention, reinvention, and family. We are excited to be producing our second ‘Sin Filtro’ docuseries with Gloria.”
K Media, the multinational production company behind original series, films, and podcasts in both Spanish and English, supports this project. The company has been associated with titles like “Chiquis Sin Filtro,” “Chiquis’ Foodie on the Go,” and “Larrymania,” among others.
“La Trevi Sin Filtro” explores the life of one of Latin music’s most significant—as well as controversial—artists. Trevi has garnered significant media coverage over the past year due to a legal dispute that revisited allegations of long-standing sexual misconduct involving a producer with whom she had many collaborations. Trevi has consistently maintained that she was also a victim and has accused the disgraced Mexican producer of sexual assault.
The series aims to present Trevi in both candid and insightful moments, showcasing her on and off stage, with a focus on her fans and family alike.
