Amazon Prime Video has unveiled the first teaser for the eagerly anticipated Season 4 of “Invincible”, which is scheduled to debut in March 2026, announced at New York Comic Con. The latest addition to the cast includes Lee Pace, who will lend his voice to the villainous Viltrumite Thragg.
Season 3 of “Invincible” premiered its eight episodes in February 2025 and was quickly renewed for a fifth season in July during San Diego Comic Con. In addition, it has been revealed that Matthew Rhys will voice a character whose identity remains a secret in Season 4.
Following a nearly three-year hiatus between the first two seasons and an unpopular mid-season break during Season 2, Season 3 made a triumphant return, satisfying fans with its intense superhero action and captivating storylines pulled straight from the comics.
The conclusion of Season 3 left viewers with multiple cliffhangers for Steven Yeun’s character, Mark Grayson, aka Invincible. After surviving the Invincible War, where the multiverse villain Angstrom Levy (voiced by Sterling K. Brown) gathered an army of alternate-dimensional Invincibles to attack Earth, the main Invincible triumphed. Tragically, Rex Splode (Jason Mantzoukas) perished, and several heroes suffered severe injuries. Furthermore, it was revealed that Angstrom Levy managed to survive by jumping to another universe.
As the world begins to rebuild, a twisted Viltrumite known as Conquest (voiced by Yeun’s former “Walking Dead” co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan) arrives on Earth to observe Invincible’s impending domination. This sparks a brutal confrontation, with Mark’s girlfriend Atom Eve (Gillian Jacobs) inadvertently caught in the chaos. Just when it seemed Conquest had dealt a critical blow to both Eve and Invincible, her powers allowed her to regenerate, ultimately incapacitating the malevolent Viltrumite. After defeating Conquest, Invincible declares a more ruthless approach to his adversaries. Meanwhile, an alien Sequid army is slowly assembling, Cecil Stedman (Walton Goggins) is covertly imprisoning Conquest, the fierce Battle Beast is still alive, and the demonic detective Damien Darkblood is conjuring a monstrous threat to challenge Invincible.
