We recently released an article titled 16 Stocks Jim Cramer Discussed In An Episode Where He Claimed OpenAI Could Outperform All Major Tech Giants. Among these stocks is Shake Shack Inc. (NYSE:SHAK), which Cramer recently addressed.

The fast-food chain Shake Shack Inc. (NYSE:SHAK) became a topic of interest for Cramer following a remark by co-host Carl Quintanilla about Bank of America’s downgrade of the stock from Neutral to Underperform and its reduction of the price target from $148 to $86. Like many other restaurants, Shake Shack Inc. (NYSE:SHAK) has faced challenges in 2025 as consumers, wary of inflation, have reduced their spending. Cramer has revisited the company multiple times in 2025, drawing attention to its necessity to launch advertising campaigns to promote discounts following price cuts. He has also expressed that analysts hold excessively high growth expectations for the restaurant. Despite Bank of America’s updated price forecast, Cramer remained optimistic about Shake Shack Inc. (NYSE:SHAK):

“I had SHAK on. I was impressed, thought it might be a good buy.”

Here are some of his earlier reflections on Shake Shack Inc. (NYSE:SHAK):

“During earnings seasons, if a stock comes in perhaps too strong, even a solid quarter may not suffice to prevent it from pulling back. Look at Shake Shack, an iconic burger franchise. Last Thursday morning, the firm revealed a robust top and bottom line beat with the highest restaurant margins seen in six years, which is what matters. Yet, some thought there was an issue. Shake Shack’s same-store sales rose by just 1.8%, while analysts had anticipated 2.2%. Come on now.”

While we recognize SHAK’s investment potential, we believe that certain AI stocks present even more attractive opportunities for greater returns with less risk. If you’re on the lookout for an AI stock that’s exceptionally undervalued and also positioned advantageously due to Trump tariffs and onshoring trends, check out our complimentary report on the best short-term AI stock.
