Here’s a glimpse into former President Barack Obama’s tweet:

As we reflect on two years marked by devastating loss for both Israeli families and the people of Gaza, there’s a sense of hope as a resolution to the conflict seems imminent. In response, Donald Trump Jr. added his own commentary:

Then came Abby Phillip’s remarks on CNN, via Mediaite:

Abby Phillip from CNN called out former President Barack Obama, noting his conspicuous omission of credit to President Donald Trump for his role in brokering a peace deal between Israel and Hamas. Phillip argued that if Obama was to comment on the peace deal, crediting the sitting president might have been a reasonable gesture.

These comments were made during a segment on CNN’s Table for Five on Saturday morning.

“It’s not unreasonable to suggest that if President Obama is going to write an entire post about a peace deal, he should recognize the president who facilitated it,” she stated.
