Jesse Kelly from “The First” issued a stern alert regarding the rise of communist ideology within American churches.
“Let’s delve into the intersection of communism and Christianity. As we often discuss, communism functions as a religion in its own right,” Kelly cautioned.
“It shapes one’s worldview and demands allegiance to a higher power, as seen through a communist lens,” he continued.
“In the Soviet Union, the approach was clear: demolish churches and persecute religious leaders,” Kelly elaborated.
“However, American communists face different circumstances. They can’t simply eradicate the Church; America’s Christian roots are fortified by a collective heritage,” Kelly elaborated.
“When outright destruction isn’t feasible, the strategy shifts to subversion. If you can’t obliterate an institution, the next step is to infiltrate and slowly erode its foundational beliefs,” he explained.
“To achieve this, they must penetrate seminaries and congregations, reconfiguring them into entities that stray far from biblical teachings, even adopting a sinister tone,” Kelly warned.
He presented footage of a progressive female pastor espousing rhetoric that diverges from traditional Christian values.
“The unfortunate reality is that congregants believe they are absorbing God’s message,” Kelly cautioned.
Additionally, he shared another clip featuring an individual distorting Christian doctrine with references to the “god of pronouns.”
“It’s essential to recognize that this is a calculated move by communists. They encountered the American Church and devised a plan to undermine it; and they are methodically succeeding,” Kelly warned.
“Consider your pastor’s sermon on white privilege following George Floyd’s death. Mine did, and I felt I lost my church at that moment,” Kelly recounted.
“The intent is clear: communists are infiltrating churches to dismantle a competing belief system,” Kelly emphasized.
