On the latest episode of “The Morning Meeting,” former Democratic strategist Dan Turrentine expressed commendation for President Donald Trump, lauding him for negotiating a remarkable peace agreement between Israel and Hamas.
During a visit to the Middle East, Trump presided over the preliminary stage of the agreement, which notably included the release of hostages captured by Hamas on October 7, 2023. Turrentine reflected on Trump’s political journey over the past decade, emphasizing that such a significant achievement calls for applause and acknowledgment.
“I was truly taken aback by the trajectory of Donald Trump’s last ten years — filled with its highs and lows, and considering how far he has come just a few years back,” Turrentine stated. “We rightly scrutinize his missteps, yet in this case, it has turned out exceptionally well. This is a historic moment and he deserves all the accolades today. One must tip their hat to him.”

It seems the Democratic naysayers who refuse to recognize Trump’s contributions will likely fade into obscurity, while he cements his place in history.
One might ponder, Trump could have chosen to relish the golden years of retirement in splendid leisure. Yet, he has committed himself to the pursuit of a better America — and indeed, a better world.
Any Democrat failing to appreciate that commitment must surely be viewed as small-minded and wistful.
