Actress Drea De Matteo Attends Trump Rally in Coachella Valley
On Saturday, October 12, actress Drea De Matteo made headlines as she attended a rally held at Calhoun Ranch on the outskirts of Coachella and Indio, where former President Donald Trump sought to challenge Vice President Kamala Harris on her home turf in the upcoming election.
The 52-year-old actress, best known for her role in The Sopranos, surprised many with her support for Trump, especially after previously backing Robert F. Kennedy Jr. before he dropped out of the race. De Matteo revealed that she believes there are “a lot” of quiet Trump supporters in Hollywood who are hesitant to voice their opinions due to fear of backlash from those who support the Democratic ticket.
In a recent interview with Fox News’ Jesse Watters, De Matteo expressed her views on the political landscape in Hollywood. She stated, “I don’t really maneuver inside that industry. I never have. First of all, in The Sopranos, we were the outcasts, even though we were critically acclaimed, we still were outcasts. So I’m still an outcast, here I am. They’re going to take me out into the woods and shoot me for not endorsing Biden.”
De Matteo went on to criticize the far left’s dominance in Hollywood, stating, “I think the far left own Hollywood. I think we all know that.”
Despite facing potential backlash for her political views, De Matteo remains steadfast in her support for Trump and willingness to speak out against the prevailing ideologies in the entertainment industry.
