The dashcam video captures the instance where Alec Baldwin crashed his wife Hilaria‘s Range Rover headfirst into a tree.
This footage was recorded by a front-facing camera on the garbage truck that Alec alleges cut him off. In the video, the commercial vehicle is seen pulling out from a driveway onto the main road, making a right turn just before Baldwin’s SUV enters the frame and crashes into a tree trunk in East Hampton, New York.
The garbage truck seemingly slows down as Alec attempts to maneuver to the right, veers off the road, and collides with a tree.

We first reported … Alec experienced a crash on Monday while his brother Stephen was in the passenger seat.
Alec asserts that a “garbage truck the size of a whale” cut him off, forcing him to swerve to avoid an accident.

According to our initial report … East Hampton Police Chief Michael Sarlo informed us that Alec’s vehicle “struck a tree on the Eastbound shoulder of the roadway while attempting to avoid a turning 2020 Mack commercial truck, registered to National Waste Services based in Bay Shore, NY.”

Chief Sarlo also stated that “the contributing factors to the accident were a reaction to an uninvolved vehicle and the hazardous, wet road conditions.”
