Blac Chyna has sparked speculation on social media after tagging her former partner, Rob Kardashian, in an enigmatic post on Instagram.
On Tuesday, October 14, Chyna—whose legal name is Angela White—posted a collection of images of herself next to a sleek white Ferrari, dressed in an all-white outfit. Nonetheless, it was the caption that truly caught the public’s eye.
“This love is forever ♾️ @robkardashianofficial,” noted the 37-year-old.
Chyna and Rob, 38, had an on-again, off-again relationship that lasted more than a year from 2016 to 2017, culminating in the birth of their daughter Dream, who is now 8 years old. Their split in the summer of 2017 was particularly turbulent, following claims from Rob that Chyna had cheated on him and the dissemination of explicit images of her on Instagram.
Their relationship has been fraught with challenges over the years. In 2017, Chyna initiated legal action against Rob’s family, including Kris Jenner and sisters Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner, claiming defamation and seeking over $100 million in damages, alleging their involvement in the cancellation of the reality series Rob & Chyna.
A judge ruled in favor of the Kardashian-Jenner clan in May 2022, denying Chyna any damages in the lawsuit.
During the proceedings, Rob stated that his relationship with Chyna left him at his lowest point. “I was probably at the worst place in my entire life, at my weakest, lowest point,” he testified.
Rob also mentioned how he tried to overlook Chyna’s negative actions towards his family, saying, “She was the one person who brought me in at my lowest point.”
Rob described their bond as “not real love” but insisted that their daughter was conceived without malice.
During the trial, he alleged instances of physical abuse from Chyna, claiming she attacked him with a metal rod and an iPhone cord, and even pulled a gun on him in what he described as an altercation in December 2016.
“She landed several blows to my face, my back,” Rob testified, according to Page Six.
He further explained, “She ripped my shirt early in the evening and we were throwing money around in our Snapchat. Initially, I thought it was playful. I didn’t realize it had escalated until she pointed a gun at my head.”
Chyna’s attorney, Lynne Ciani, questioned why Rob failed to post evidence of his injuries online. Rob responded, “Not everyone shows visible marks after being hit. The gun incident didn’t leave a mark, but I assure you the cord around my neck did.”
In her own defense, Chyna stated that the gun was unloaded and characterized the incident as a joke, saying, “I would never shoot Rob or anyone else. It was just playful, like, ‘HA, HA!’”
Chyna and Rob appear to be on more amicable terms these days. In a February interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored, she mentioned that their relationship has improved and that she has been in contact with other family members as well.
“I talk to Kim. Rob and I are like this now,” she stated, crossing her fingers to emphasize her point. “I’ve also spoken with Kris and Khloé. I have yet to see Kourtney and haven’t connected with Kylie either,” she added.
