Stephen Miller discusses policy issues alongside an official at a press conference, with a focus on homeland security matters, during a Fox News broadcast.

In an interview earlier this week, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker boldly declared his intent to prosecute Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in what he envisions as a post-Trump world.

These remarks emerged during a chat with FOX 32 Chicago, coinciding with a notable ramp-up in ICE operations aimed at apprehending individuals illegally residing in the United States. It seems Pritzker may have missed the memo regarding the legal framework within which ICE operates.

“The tables will turn one day,” Pritzker insisted, suggesting that those currently enforcing immigration laws might someday face legal consequences for their actions.

“These people should recognize that maybe they’re not gonna get prosecuted today, although we’re looking at doing that, but they may get prosecuted after the Trump administration because the statute of limitations would not have run out.”

On Wednesday night, Stephen Miller appeared on Hannity to dissect Pritzker’s comments with a less-than-gentle touch.

Stephen Miller: “He’s a fool and a moron—but more importantly, he hates America. You can’t love your country and then fight President Trump as he tries to keep murderers from murdering.”

“President Trump is saying, ‘Let us work together—with the FBI, with ICE, with the DEA, with the National Guard—to stop the violence in your city.’ Pritzker, however, appears bent on shielding those engaged in violent crime—individuals shooting dozens of people each week.”

Miller further claims, “Chicago is more dangerous than Baghdad; it’s more dangerous than Mexico City.”

“So shame on Pritzker, and God bless President Trump for advocating on behalf of the American people, Sean.”

Analysis from SuperGrok AI indicates that Miller’s dramatic claims might benefit from a reality check:
