Alix Earle’s performance on “Dancing With the Stars” has earned her a stamp of approval from none other than Lady Gaga herself. The 24-year-old influencer and entertainer posted clips of her Halloween costume, inspired by Lady Gaga’s iconic “Paparazzi” music video from 2009, on her TikTok. Gaga was quick to show her love for Earle in the comments, writing, “Girl I love you. And I’m rooting for you on DWTS! Thank you for this it’s so sweet.”
During this week’s “Halloween Night” episode on Oct. 28, Earle and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy performed a tango to Billie Eilish’s “Bury a Friend.” The performance featured the duo rising from a pit of dirt, reminiscent of Gaga’s “skeleton pit” from her “The Mayhem Ball” tour. Gaga is known for using the prop during her performance of “Perfect Celebrity.”
Earle has always been vocal about her admiration for Lady Gaga, and it seems that admiration is mutual. The “Halloween Night” episode of “Dancing With the Stars” drew in an impressive 6.74 million total viewers, marking another season high for the 34th season of the show. This episode saw a 2% increase in viewership from the previous week, despite airing opposite Game 4 of the World Series on Fox.
It’s clear that Alix Earle’s talent and creativity are capturing the attention of both viewers and celebrities alike. With Lady Gaga’s seal of approval and a growing fan base, Earle is definitely a contestant to watch on this season of “Dancing With the Stars.”
