The head coach of the Nebraska Volleyball team, Dani Busboom Kelly, recently shared her thoughts on the team’s performance in a game against the Oregon Ducks. The Nebraska Cornhuskers continued their impressive winning streak, extending it to 22-0 after a convincing 3-0 victory over the Oregon Ducks.

During a post-match press conference, Dani Busboom Kelly reflected on the challenging match against the Oregon team. She commended the opponents for putting up a strong fight and acknowledged that they forced the Nebraska Volleyball team to elevate their game. In her own words, she mentioned, “I mean we can simulate that. It’s always just different when you get out there, live and see it, and I don’t think we were surprised by it. I just think they’re very good and so they force you to raise your level.”

Prior to their win against the Oregon Ducks, the Nebraska Volleyball team had also triumphed over the Wisconsin Badgers with a flawless 3-0 victory. Looking ahead, the Nebraska Cornhuskers are preparing to face off against the Illinois Fighting Illini and the Minnesota Golden Gophers in upcoming games on November 6 and November 8 respectively.

In a previous interview after the game against the Wisconsin Badgers, Dani Busboom Kelly disclosed the key factors behind the team’s consistent success. She emphasized the importance of structured practices and challenging matchups to prepare the players for tough competition. The head coach’s strategic approach has been instrumental in maintaining the team’s unbeaten streak.

With a successful track record as both a player and an assistant coach, Dani Busboom Kelly has brought a wealth of experience to the Nebraska Volleyball team. Having previously guided the Louisville Cardinals to the finals of the 2024 NCAA Championships, she has seamlessly transitioned into her role as the head coach of the Nebraska team, following the departure of John Cook.
