Authorities from South Metro Fire Rescue reported that one individual has been hospitalized following a house fire in the Littleton area on Tuesday morning.

The fire, located at 7980 Kendall Blvd, prompted responses from South Metro Fire Rescue and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. Firefighters classified the blaze as a second-alarm fire, which originated from a camper trailer situated between two residences. The fire spread to the neighboring homes on each side of the camper.

Footage released by South Metro Fire Rescue depicted thick smoke emerging from the burned camper trailer, as firefighters worked to extinguish the flames.

By noon, the fire was contained, and cleanup operations were underway as per South Metro Fire Rescue. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

One individual was transported to a nearby hospital, although their current condition remains undisclosed by South Metro Fire Rescue.

Updates on this incident will be provided as more details surface.
