The incident at a US military base where several individuals fell ill after a suspicious package containing white powder was delivered has been resolved, with those affected cleared by medical personnel. The individuals were taken to the Malcolm Grove Medical Center at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland after the package was opened on Thursday. They were evaluated and treated by base medical staff, found to be in stable condition, and subsequently released.

As a precautionary measure, the building where the incident occurred was evacuated, and a perimeter was established around the area. However, normal operations have since resumed following an investigation by Joint Base Andrews first responders, who determined that there were no immediate threats.

Although an initial field test by the hazmat team did not detect any hazardous substances, the investigation into the incident is ongoing. Joint Base Andrews, known as the home base for Air Force One, the presidential aircraft, is now back to its regular operations.

The safety and well-being of all personnel at the base are of utmost importance, and authorities are taking all necessary precautions to ensure the continued security of the facility. As more information becomes available, updates will be provided to ensure transparency and accountability in handling such incidents in the future.
