“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Mary Cosby and her husband, Robert Cosby Sr., find themselves at the center of controversy once again, as a new TLC documentary delves into allegations of their church being a cult.
TMZ has released a shocking trailer for the upcoming docuseries, which examines Mary’s unconventional marriage to her step-grandfather, Robert Cosby Sr., and the disturbing claims of misconduct surrounding Faith Temple Pentecostal Church.
The documentary features interviews with former church members who speak out for the first time, shedding light on the inner workings of Faith Temple. Additionally, a cult expert provides insights into the control tactics used to maintain loyalty among followers.
The documentary includes recordings of Mary and Robert Cosby Sr.’s controversial sermons, as well as archival footage from the early days of Faith Temple. It aims to address the lingering question of how the couple has evaded accountability for so long.
“The Cult of The Real Housewife” is set to premiere on Thursday, January 1, from 8–11 PM ET/PT on TLC, with all three episodes available for streaming on Max and Discovery+ the following day.
