A tragic incident occurred in South Korea when a light truck crashed into a market in Bucheon, resulting in two fatalities and 18 injuries. The accident, which took place about 20km west of Seoul, involved the truck ploughing 150 meters along a passageway before coming to a stop, according to emergency officials.

Reports indicate that two individuals who suffered cardiac arrest have unfortunately passed away. The driver of the truck, a man in his 60s, claimed that the crash was due to sudden unintended acceleration. Despite testing negative for alcohol intoxication, the driver has been arrested and is currently being questioned by the police.

Authorities are investigating the incident to determine the exact cause of the crash. CCTV footage captured the moment when the blue truck accelerated through the market, causing devastation. The driver’s actions have raised concerns about public safety and the need for stricter regulations to prevent similar accidents in the future.
