Hilaria Baldwin Opens Up About Identity Struggles and Marriage with Alec Baldwin
Hilaria Baldwin, a contestant on Dancing With The Stars at the age of 41, recently shared her thoughts on age, experience, and marriage in a candid interview. In a subtle jab at her husband, Alec Baldwin, she revealed that she felt she lost part of her identity after their marriage.
Addressing the age gap between her and Alec, Hilaria stated, “I don’t believe that age is just a number, at least in our situation. There are certain things where I have to look at him and say, he has 26 more years of experience. And sometimes that’s a flex, and sometimes that means that we need to do a little therapy.”
The couple first met in 2011 at a restaurant in Manhattan and tied the knot the following year. They have since welcomed seven children together – Carmen, 12, Rafael, ten, Leonardo, nine, Romeo, seven, Eduardo, five, María Lucía, four, and Ilaria, three.
Despite their large and loving family, Hilaria’s comments shed light on the challenges that come with marriage and maintaining a sense of self within a relationship. The couple’s journey serves as a reminder that communication, compromise, and therapy can be valuable tools in navigating the complexities of marriage.
