Chicago police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two men wanted in connection with the tragic shooting incident that claimed the lives of father Fino Alamo Dominguez, 63, and his son Luis Alamo, 25, at their Little Village jewelry store last weekend.

The fatal incident occurred during a robbery attempt at the jewelry store located in the 3800 block of West 26th Street around 5:49 p.m. on Saturday, November 8. Both victims were critically wounded during a struggle with an armed robber and were pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Eye witnesses reported seeing men shooting in the street and the victims lying on the ground. Investigators recovered approximately twelve shell casings and pieces of jewelry from the crime scene.

Chicago police released surveillance images and a brief video clip on Thursday night, showing two men wanted for questioning in connection with the double homicide. One of the suspects, captured on video wearing a Blackhawks jersey, appeared to be involved in the struggle and shooting, while the role of the second individual remains unclear.

The first suspect is described as a Black male wearing a black North Face hooded jacket, brown-brimmed baseball hat, glasses, black cargo pants, and gray sneakers. The second suspect is described as a Black male wearing a tan bucket hat, a Blackhawks jersey, tan pants, and black shoes.

According to investigators, the shooting began when one of the suspects entered the store, brandished a firearm, and demanded property. Following the theft, a struggle ensued with the victims before the suspect opened fire. The gunman then fled to a white car that was seen heading south on Springfield Avenue.

Paul Rutherford, Executive Director of Cook County Crime Stoppers, condemned the killings as a “senseless act of violence” and urged anyone with information to come forward, emphasizing that “two hardworking individuals lost their lives in this tragic incident.”

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of the shooter. Individuals with tips are encouraged to contact Area Four detectives at 312-746-8252 or submit information anonymously at CPDTIP.com, citing case number JJ482411.
