HoYoverse recently hosted the Zenless Zone Zero version 2.4 livestream, unveiling all the exciting events, rewards, and new content set to launch with the update on November 26, 2025. Players can anticipate some significant changes in the latest story content and events following the official Dev Talk that was released a few days prior.
According to the official event schedule, Zenless Zone Zero version 2.4 will have a shorter duration of 5 weeks compared to previous patches. Let’s delve into all the events planned by HoYoverse for this upcoming update.
### Zenless Zone Zero 2.4 Events Overview
#### New Main Story Chapter
The upcoming version 2.4 will introduce a new main story chapter titled “On the Precipice of the Abyss.” This chapter will follow the disappearance of Ye Shiyuan, who was sent in search of the Creator after Sarah in the previous chapter of version 2.3. Additionally, players will also encounter Ye Shiyuan’s sister, Ye Shungguang, from the Yunkui Summit, who is hinted to be the current inheritor of the Qingming sword previously owned by Yixuan’s sister, the former High Preceptor.
#### Signal Search Banners
The Signal Search banners will feature new S-Rank agents Dialyn and Banyue in version 2.4. Dialyn, an S-Rank Stun agent with the Physical element, will debut in the first phase alongside her dedicated S-Rank W-Engine, “Yesterday Calls.” The second phase will introduce the S-Rank Rupture agent Banyue with the Fire element and his W-Engine, “Wrathful Vajra.”
#### New Bangboos
Version 2.4 will also release two new Bangboos – the S-Rank Birkblick from Krampus Compliance Authority, available through the Bangboo Channel, and the A-Rank Bild N. Boolok, a free reward from the flagship event “Eh-Nah” Chess Saga.
### Zenless Zone Zero 2.4 Version Events
Apart from the main story and banners, players can participate in several limited-time events offering standard rewards like Polychromes, upgrade items, and collectibles.
#### Check-In Events
The version 2.4 will feature Check-In events where players can claim up to 10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons.
#### “Eh-Nah” Chess Saga
This flagship event in version 2.4 introduces a new strategy-style mode resembling a Bangboo-themed TFT chess board. Players must position and manage different Bangboos to clear waves and complete challenge stages, earning rewards like Polychromes, level-up materials, and more.
#### Neo Golden Mecha
The Neo Golden Mecha limited-time event revolves around Grace’s new movie project, where Proxies, Eous, and the Manager are involved in a unique movie production experience. Players will take on challenges inspired by the movie, enhancing the golden prototype mecha and earning rewards like Polychromes, character skill materials, and Dennies.
#### Lightstream Notes
In this event, players will guide Ye Shungguang around New Eridu, allowing her to experience city life beyond her usual mountain training. Rewards include Polychromes, Boopons, and personal reflections from Shungguang.
#### 100% Miss Bunny
The event puts players through a special assessment designed by Senior Zhao of Krampus Compliance Authority. By completing tasks, players can earn rewards like Polychromes and Boopons, gaining Zhao’s approval and credibility within the faction.
#### Simulated Sequence Showdown
This event returns with new challenges and a fresh Martial Practice mode featuring Banyue. Rewards include Tuning Calibrators, Polychromes, skill and level-up materials.
#### Other Recurring Events
Endgame modes like Deadly Assault and Shiyu Defense will rotate as usual, while Routine Cleanup and Combat Simulation events will double rewards during selected weeks.
