Marjorie Taylor Greene has become quite the character in political circles lately.
In a twist that could rival any political thriller, Donald Trump is pulling out all the stops to prevent House Republicans from voting on legislation that would compel the Department of Justice to release the Epstein files. One has to wonder why he cares so much about stopping a bill he could simply veto if it reached his desk. The prevailing theory suggests that he wishes to avoid the awkward position of having to publicly defend Epstein should the bill pass.

On Friday evening, Trump took to his social media platform to issue a rather scathing withdrawal of support for Greene, stating:
I am officially revoking my endorsement of “Congresswoman” Marjorie Taylor Greene from Georgia. In recent weeks, despite my record-setting achievements for our nation—including a total victory on the shutdown, fortified borders, reduced taxes, preventing men from competing in women’s sports, rolling back DEI initiatives, and combating skyrocketing inflation—I’ve only seen “Wacky” Marjorie complain incessantly! This all started when I sent her a poll indicating she should reconsider her aspirations for the Senate or Governor, as she was polling at a mere 12%, with little hope of success (unless, of course, I were to endorse her—which she wasn’t getting!).
She has expressed to many that she’s upset over my lack of response to her calls, but with 219 Congress members, 53 senators, 24 cabinet members, nearly 200 countries, and a somewhat normal life to manage, I can’t entertain a ranting lunatic’s calls daily. Conservative constituents in her district are reportedly considering primarying her, as they too are fed up with her antics, and should the right candidate emerge, they will have my full support. She has veered far left, even appearing on The View with its notoriously low-IQ, Republican-bashing hosts. Thank you for your attention. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
On Saturday morning, Trump escalated the feud with a bold proclamation:
Marjorie “Traitor” Greene is a disgrace to our GREAT REPUBLICAN PARTY!
This is classic Trump behavior—bullying his way through the party by threatening Greene with a primary challenge.
However, Greene is not backing down. Instead, she has fired back, bringing the conversation back to the Epstein files and what that could mean for her and the party at large.
