This year’s edition will be held in New York for the first time, at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall on March 1 and March 2, 2026.

Ms. Rachel earned nominations for outstanding preschool, children’s, or family viewing series and outstanding writing for a preschool or children’s series for her “Ms. Rachel – Toddler Learning Videos” YouTube channel. Squibb received a nod for outstanding children’s personality for her work on the “Storyline Online” YouTube channel, where she will be competing against Yvette Nicole Brown for “Cookie Monster’s Bake Sale: Block Party.”

One of the viral sensations that turned into an Emmy nomination was a clip of star Andrew Garfield talking to Elmo about grief on the “Sesame Street” YouTube channel, earning a nod for outstanding short-form live-action program.

In a surprising twist, former “Friends” co-stars Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer are both nominated in the outstanding lead performer in a preschool, children’s, or young teen program category for their roles in “Time Bandits” and “Goosebumps: The Vanishing” respectively. They face stiff competition from Kit Connor, Joe Locke, Jude Law, Danya Griver, and Nina Toussaint-White.

The outstanding single-role voice performer in a children’s or young teen program category features a star-studded lineup including Cynthia Erivo, John Lithgow, Maya Rudolph, John C. Reilly, Ernie Hudson, and Erik Todd Dellums.

NATAS announced the nominations live on its social media accounts, as well as at a membership event with the Children’s Media Association New York chapter. This year’s awards include changes to categories such as the outstanding voice performer in a preschool program, which is now the result of a merger between outstanding single-role voice performance and outstanding multiple-role voice performance.

Excitement is building as the Children’s & Family Emmy Awards prepare to honor the extraordinary individuals and teams who bring children’s and family television to life every day. Rachel Schwartz, the head of the Children’s & Family Emmy Awards, expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming event and the recognition of those in the industry. The rise of sustainable fashion: A revolution in the fashion industry

In recent years, there has been a significant shift in the fashion industry towards sustainability. With growing awareness about the environmental impact of fast fashion, consumers are increasingly demanding more ethical and eco-friendly options when it comes to their clothing purchases. This has led to a revolution in the fashion industry, with many brands and designers embracing sustainable practices in order to meet the changing demands of their customers.

One of the key drivers of the sustainable fashion movement has been the increasing concern over the environmental impact of the fashion industry. The production of clothing involves a significant amount of water, energy, and chemicals, and the waste generated by the industry is staggering. According to the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of global carbon emissions and is the second-largest consumer of water worldwide. In addition, the rise of fast fashion has led to an increase in textile waste, with millions of tons of clothing ending up in landfills every year.

In response to these concerns, many fashion brands and designers have started to adopt more sustainable practices in their production processes. This includes using eco-friendly materials such as organic cotton, recycled polyester, and sustainable fibers like bamboo and hemp. These materials are often produced using less water and energy than traditional fabrics, and they are biodegradable or recyclable, which helps to reduce the environmental impact of the fashion industry.

In addition to using sustainable materials, many fashion brands are also focusing on reducing waste and improving the longevity of their products. This includes designing clothing that is made to last, using techniques such as zero waste pattern cutting and upcycling to minimize leftover fabric, and offering repair and recycling services to customers. By extending the lifespan of their products, brands are not only reducing their environmental impact but also helping to create a more sustainable fashion industry.

Another key aspect of sustainable fashion is ethical production practices. This includes ensuring that workers in the supply chain are paid fair wages, work in safe conditions, and are treated with respect. Many brands are now partnering with ethical manufacturing facilities and investing in transparency and traceability initiatives to ensure that their products are produced in a responsible manner.

The rise of sustainable fashion has also been driven by changing consumer attitudes towards consumption. With the rise of social media and increased awareness about the environmental and social impacts of the fashion industry, consumers are becoming more conscious about the choices they make when it comes to their clothing purchases. Many consumers are now choosing to support brands that align with their values and are committed to sustainability, leading to a growing demand for ethical and eco-friendly fashion options.

Overall, the rise of sustainable fashion represents a revolution in the fashion industry. By embracing more ethical and eco-friendly practices, brands and designers are not only helping to reduce the environmental impact of the fashion industry but also meeting the changing demands of their customers. With consumers increasingly prioritizing sustainability in their purchasing decisions, the future of fashion looks to be more ethical, transparent, and environmentally conscious than ever before.
