NFL Hall of Famer Andre Reed and Buffalo-born actor Chad Michael Murray have teamed up to executive produce an upcoming docuseries titled “Just One Before I Die,” which focuses on the passionate fanbase of the Buffalo Bills.

The docuseries aims to capture the essence of the Bills Mafia and their unyielding support for the Buffalo Bills as they strive for a long-awaited championship victory. Despite numerous appearances in the Super Bowl, the Bills have yet to secure a win in the coveted game. Co-directed and produced by Buffalo natives Addison Henderson and Kevin Polowy, along with co-creator Clayton Polowy, the series promises to provide an in-depth look at the dedicated fans who form the backbone of the team’s enduring legacy.

Chad Michael Murray, who hails from Clarence, NY, a suburb of Buffalo, expressed his excitement about being a part of a project that celebrates the unwavering dedication of Bills fans. He emphasized the passion and commitment that comes with being a member of the Bills Mafia, describing it as a birthright for many Buffalonians. Murray also shared his long-standing dream of showcasing the fans themselves, who he believes are often overlooked despite being integral to the team’s success.

Andre Reed, a former wide receiver for the Bills and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, echoed Murray’s sentiments about the special bond between the team and its fans. Having experienced the electric atmosphere of playing in front of Buffalo’s passionate crowd, Reed emphasized the unparalleled support that the Bills receive from their fanbase.

Production for the docuseries commenced in August coinciding with the start of the 2024 NFL season. Filming has taken place in various locations including Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Miami, Baltimore, Houston, New York City, as well as sites in New Jersey and Connecticut. The addition of Reed and Murray to the project has been likened to signing two top free agents, further elevating the series’ potential to capture the essence of the Bills Mafia.
