50 Cent Announces New Netflix Docuseries on Sean “Diddy” Combs
Curtis Jackson, better known as 50 Cent, has revealed the title of his upcoming Netflix docuseries about Sean “Diddy” Combs. Titled “Sean Combs: The Reckoning,” the series is set to premiere on December 2.
In a teaser for the series, 50 Cent is heard saying, “You can’t continue to keep hurting people and nothing ever happens. It’s just a matter of time.”
The official synopsis describes the series as a deep dive into the life of the media mogul, music legend, and convicted offender, Sean Combs. The documentary explores Combs’ rapid rise in the music industry with Bad Boy Entertainment, his impact on bringing hip-hop to mainstream audiences, and his role in launching the careers of iconic artists like The Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, and more. However, the series also delves into the darker aspects of Combs’ ambitions, as shared by his former associates, childhood friends, and employees.
Comprising four hour-long episodes, “Sean Combs: The Reckoning” was directed by Alexandria Stapleton and features exclusive interviews with individuals who were once part of Combs’ inner circle. Executive producers include 50 Cent, Stacy Scripter, and others, with production by House of Nonfiction, G-Unit Film & Television, and Texas Crew Productions.
