Ned Fulmer, known for his role in The Try Guys, bravely shared his battle with multiple sclerosis (MS) in a recent YouTube video titled “I Have MS.” The revelation came as a shock to many of his fans, as Fulmer disclosed that he has been struggling with the condition for the past 12 years.
In the video, Fulmer recounted how his journey with MS began in 2013 when he started experiencing numbness in his hands, arms, and back. Concerned about his symptoms, he went to the hospital for an MRI, which revealed lesions in his brain—a common indicator of MS. Initially in denial about his diagnosis, Fulmer hoped that the numbness would subside on its own and left the hospital without seeking further treatment.
However, his symptoms only worsened, leading to a frightening incident where he collapsed from weakness while walking to the bathroom one night. This scare prompted him to seek urgent medical attention, where he was given medication that allowed him to regain movement in his legs. Fulmer described his recovery as nothing short of a miracle.
Despite the challenges he has faced, Fulmer recently received positive news from a clean MRI scan. While he is grateful to be in remission, he continues to experience low-level sensory issues as a result of his condition. In an effort to be more open about his struggles, Fulmer decided to share his story with his audience, acknowledging that keeping it a secret for so long was not healthy for him.
By opening up about his battle with MS, Fulmer hopes to raise awareness about the condition and inspire others who may be facing similar challenges. His candidness and positivity in the face of adversity serve as a reminder of the importance of seeking support and staying hopeful in the midst of difficult circumstances.
