Brad Pitt’s Exes Slam Angelina Jolie as Battle Over Miraval Continues
Angelina Jolie, 50, recently opened up about the emotional toll of separating from her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, 61. Jolie, who had previously accused Pitt of abuse, shared that the events leading to their divorce were incredibly difficult for her and their children.
Despite the challenges, Jolie made the decision to leave control and full residency of their family homes in Los Angeles and at Miraval to Pitt without any compensation. She hoped that this gesture would help ease tensions between them after a tumultuous period.
Jolie also revealed that she and her children – Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne – have avoided visiting Miraval due to its association with the painful events surrounding the divorce.
Meanwhile, Pitt, who has denied the abuse allegations, is now embroiled in a legal battle with Jolie over her stake in the French property. He claims that she sold her share to the wine division of the Stoli Group without his consent, while Jolie maintains that she did not require his approval.
The once-power couple had initially leased the property in the South of France before eventually purchasing it. Miraval held special significance for them, as they had exchanged vows there in 2014.
As the legal feud over Miraval unfolds, a source close to the situation expressed concern over the ongoing conflicts between Jolie and Pitt. The source questioned whether this battle would ever come to an end, emphasizing the importance of resolving the issues for the sake of their children.
