Less than a year after successfully overcoming lymphoma, Dave Coulier has shared the heartbreaking news of facing another health crisis. The beloved actor has been diagnosed with tongue cancer, marking his second battle with the disease.

In a candid interview on the Today show, Coulier opened up about the shock of receiving the new diagnosis. He revealed that he was diagnosed with HPV-related oropharyngeal tongue cancer in October, following a routine follow-up scan that unexpectedly revealed the presence of cancerous cells.

Despite not experiencing any symptoms initially, Coulier underwent a biopsy that confirmed the devastating news. The actor described the pain as excruciating, likening it to a constant sensation of biting his tongue every single day. The diagnosis of tongue cancer came as a surprise to Coulier, who had just recently gone through grueling chemotherapy for non-Hodgkin lymphoma in November 2024.

Reflecting on his journey with cancer, Coulier expressed the overwhelming emotions of transitioning from a seemingly minor health issue to a life-threatening disease. However, he remained optimistic about his chances of recovery, noting that the medical team had reassured him of a high likelihood of curability.

Throughout his cancer battles, Coulier has found unwavering support from his Full House co-stars, who rallied around him with messages of love and encouragement. The actor shared that the outpouring of support from his friends and family has been a source of strength and comfort during his challenging times.

In a joyous turn of events, Coulier received the news of being cancer-free on the same day his grandson was born. The actor expressed his gratitude for the positive outcome and the arrival of his grandchild, marking a day of celebration and happiness amidst his health struggles.
