Under President Trump’s economic policies, the United States is witnessing a resurgence in the manufacturing sector. In July, domestic manufacturing activity experienced its most significant growth in over four years, continuing a trend of seven months of consecutive expansion.

The impact is evident: President Trump’s Working Families Tax Cuts and America First trade initiatives are fueling an economic surge, repatriating jobs and essential industries. Recently, Switzerland-based pharmaceutical company Octapharma revealed a $1.5 billion investment to establish its inaugural U.S. production facility, which will create 1,500 jobs.

This announcement adds to a series of foreign investments in U.S. manufacturing:

  • Swiss pharmaceutical giant Novartis disclosed a $23 billion investment in ten U.S. manufacturing and R&D facilities, generating 4,000 jobs.
  • Swiss healthcare leader Roche announced a $50 billion commitment to U.S. manufacturing and R&D, resulting in over 12,000 jobs.
  • Belgian pharmaceutical firm UCB unveiled a $2 billion plan to build its first U.S. manufacturing facility, adding more than 800 jobs.
  • Japanese automaker Toyota declared a $3.6 billion investment to enhance truck production, creating 2,000 jobs.
  • Mexican aluminum recycler Zerluma committed to a $50 million investment in a new U.S. manufacturing plant, leading to 70 jobs.
  • Taiwanese chipmaker TSMC announced a $265 billion investment in U.S. manufacturing, expected to create tens of thousands of jobs.
  • Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Wistron, partnering with NVIDIA, announced a $700 million investment in AI manufacturing, aiming to create up to 1,000 jobs.
  • German engineering company Siemens unveiled a $165 million investment in U.S. manufacturing, resulting in more than 350 jobs.

President Trump and his Administration are committed to furthering this revitalization, fulfilling the promise to bring American jobs back, strengthen the domestic supply chain, and prioritize America First.
