Google recently introduced a range of new accessories to accompany the Pixel 10 series, including the Pixel Rope Wristlet. Despite flying under the radar amidst the buzz surrounding other accessories, this wristlet offers a unique and practical way to secure your phone.

Upon receiving the wristlet, the setup process may seem confusing at first. However, it is actually quite simple and requires the use of a compatible case to secure the wristlet in place. The official silicone case from the Pixel 10 series is recommended for its slim profile and compatibility with Pixelsnap support.

The Pixel Rope Wristlet consists of two parts: the wristlet itself and a small lanyard patch that attaches to the case. The setup involves attaching the lanyard patch to the case, feeding the D-Ring through the USB-C port, and securing the wristlet with a carabiner clip. The entire process takes less than 30 seconds and is compatible with most smartphones, not just Google phones.

In terms of design, the Pixel Rope Wristlet is both stylish and practical. Available in three color options, the ropes are knotted together for a secure and adjustable fit. The wristlet is comfortable to wear and offers added security against phone theft due to its durable construction.

However, the availability of the Pixel Rope Wristlet has been an issue since its limited run in the US. Google removed the listing from its store, leading to a reliance on third-party sellers like eBay. The inflated prices on these platforms make the wristlet less accessible to consumers, with some sellers charging almost three times the original retail price.

Overall, the Pixel Rope Wristlet is a well-made and useful accessory that is hindered by its limited availability and reliance on third-party sellers. While it offers convenience and style, the inflated prices may deter potential buyers. For those considering other Pixel accessories, it is worth exploring alternatives like the Pixelsnap Ring Stand and Chargers. Additionally, for those in need of a new phone, the guide to the best Google Pixel phones can provide valuable insight.
