How Nancy Sinatra Continues to Make her Disdain for Trump a Christmas Tradition
Frank Sinatra, a legendary figure in the music industry, was known for his iconic voice and charisma. However, his daughter Nancy Sinatra has taken on a different role in the public eye by making her disdain for former President Donald Trump a Christmas tradition.
Frank Sinatra, who passed away in 1998 at the age of 82, was known for his shifting political loyalties. He supported both Democratic and Republican candidates throughout his life, campaigning for Franklin D. Roosevelt, switching allegiance to Richard Nixon in 1972, and later receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom from Ronald Reagan in 1985.
In contrast to her father, Nancy Sinatra has remained firmly aligned with the Democratic Party and has been vocal about her contempt for Trump since his first presidential run. In a 2021 interview, she expressed her distress during Trump’s first term, stating, “I’ll never forgive the people that voted for him, ever. I have an angry place inside of me now – I hope it doesn’t kill me.”
Sources have revealed that Nancy’s decision to renew her declarations of disdain for Trump each December is intentional. One insider explained, “She knows Christmas is when people think of Frank the most, so she uses that moment to speak for him. It has become her Christmas message – reminding everyone that Frank stood for something very different from what Trump represents.”
