Former Bond Girl Jane Seymour has recently opened up about her vibrant love life with her musician boyfriend at the age of 74. The iconic actress, best known for her role in “Live and Let Die,” revealed that she still feels incredibly youthful and sexually active, comparing her inner age to that of a 40-year-old.
Despite her upcoming 75th birthday in February, Seymour exudes a sense of vitality and energy that defies her age. Having been married four times in the past, she is currently in a relationship with 76-year-old musician John Zambetti, following her divorce from James Keach in 2015.
“I have to actually wake up in the morning and remind myself how old I am because inside of me, I would say I still feel like I’m maybe about 40 or 50, maybe 40,” Seymour shared. “I don’t know where all that time went, but I have the energy that I had when I was 40.”
The actress emphasized her active and fulfilling lifestyle, stating, “I turn 75 next year, and I’m very sexually active … I kind of have become, in some way, almost a poster child for there is life after 70.” Seymour’s positive outlook on aging is reflected in her commitment to living life to the fullest and embracing new experiences.
“I kind of look at my mother when she was alive, and at 50, I would say she was middle-aged. I don’t feel that way at all,” Seymour expressed. “I am loving life. I call it experiential living. Now is it. I don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow. So I only want to spend my time doing things that I’m passionate about, that I really enjoy.”
Despite initially not seeking a romantic relationship, Seymour’s encounter with Zambetti at a friend’s event led to a serendipitous connection. Recalling their first meeting, she shared, “I was very, very single. And a girlfriend said, ‘You must come out with me,’ and I went, ‘Look, I’m 73, I don’t think I’m going out or doing anything. I’m done with guys, it’s not happening.'”
However, fate had other plans as Zambetti entered Seymour’s life unexpectedly, leading to a deep and meaningful connection between the two. Describing her boyfriend as “the most wonderful, loving, extraordinary man,” Seymour praised Zambetti’s character and talents.
“He’s an ER doctor, very handy. And he has a rock band for the last 60 years called The Malibooz with Walter Egan,” Seymour shared, highlighting the multifaceted nature of their relationship.
Jane Seymour’s candid revelations about love, life, and aging serve as an inspiration for many, demonstrating that passion and vitality know no age limits. Her story of finding love and fulfillment later in life is a testament to the enduring power of romance and the importance of living each day to the fullest.
