Samsung has recently announced an exciting new beta program that allows Samsung Galaxy S25 owners to experience the upcoming One UI 8.5 update before its official release. This beta program offers users a sneak peek into the new features and improvements that One UI 8.5 has to offer.

One UI 8.5 is expected to be a significant upgrade over the current One UI 8, with Samsung describing it as a reimagining of how users interact with their devices. The update aims to streamline the user experience by reducing the need to switch between apps and menus on Samsung smartphones.

One of the standout features of the One UI 8.5 beta is Photo Assist 2.0, which allows users to perform various photo edits in a single session without the need to save progress at each step. Additionally, Quick Share now has the ability to recognize faces in images and provide sharing recommendations based on the identified faces. Another notable feature is Audio Broadcast, which enables Samsung users to communicate with multiple Bluetooth devices simultaneously.

Storage Share is another exciting addition to One UI 8.5, offering a unified storage system that allows users to access files from their tablets and PCs directly on their phones. The update also includes a more secure and granular identity verification system, enhancing overall device security.

The availability of the One UI 8.5 beta program began on December 8th and is currently open to Samsung Galaxy S25 owners in select territories, including the UK, US, Germany, Korea, India, and Poland. Users can access the beta program through the Samsung Members app, giving them early access to the upcoming features and improvements of One UI 8.5.
