The NBA Cup quarterfinal between the Phoenix Suns and OKC Thunder is set to be a thrilling showdown at the Paycom Center. In their previous meeting in the group stage, the Thunder narrowly edged out the Suns with a 123-119 victory.

The Suns had a strong showing in the group stage, finishing with a 3-1 record, with their only loss coming against OKC. On the other hand, the Thunder dominated the group stage with a perfect 4-0 record, showcasing their strength and depth.

In terms of their regular-season records, the Suns currently sit in seventh place with a 14-10 record, while the Thunder have been on fire with an impressive 23-1 start to the season.

Starting lineups for both teams are crucial in determining the outcome of the game. The Suns may see the return of Devin Booker to the lineup after missing two games. If he returns, Booker will pair up with Grayson Allen in the backcourt. Dillon Brooks and Royce O’Neale will provide support on the wings, while Mark Williams will anchor the frontcourt.

On the other side, the Thunder will field their strongest lineup, with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Lu Dort, and Alex Caruso all cleared to play. Gilgeous-Alexander and Cason Wallace will lead the backcourt, while Jalen Williams and Lu Dort will take charge on the wings. Chet Holmgren will be the starting center for OKC.

In terms of injuries, the Suns have listed Devin Booker as questionable with a right groin strain, while Jalen Green and Isaiah Livers are ruled out. The Thunder will be without Isaiah Joe, Isaiah Hartenstein, Nikola Topic, and Thomas Sorber due to various injuries.
