The Producers Guild of America has recently announced the nominations for the 37th annual PGA Awards in the sports, children’s, and short-form program categories. Among the nominees are familiar names such as “Sesame Street,” “Formula 1: Drive to Survive,” and “SpongeBob SquarePants.” These shows are back to compete for outstanding achievements in their respective categories.
The winners of the 37th Annual Producers Guild Awards will be revealed at the PGA’s east and west coast celebrations of the nominees and producing teams in February, with the awards show taking place on February 28. The PGA ceremony aims to celebrate the work of producers and recognize standout achievements in film, television, and emerging media.
Final polls for the sports, children’s, and short-form categories will open on Monday, Jan. 5, and close on Monday, Jan. 19 at 2 p.m. PT. The ceremony will also honor producers such as Amy Pascal, Mara Brock Akil, and Jason Blum with prestigious awards. Nominees for theatrical motion pictures, animated motion pictures, TV series/specials, and televised/streamed motion pictures will be announced on Friday, Jan. 9.
