Indiana Governor Mike Braun (R) had a rough day on Thursday, as his state’s Republican-led Senate rejected President Donald Trump’s push for a new congressional map. Despite Trump’s anger over the failed map, he took to attacking state Senators Rodric Bray and Greg Goode for not supporting the new plan.

Trump even went as far as threatening to withhold federal funds from Indiana if they didn’t comply with his redistricting demands. In response, Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith confirmed the Trump administration’s strong stance on redistricting.

Braun, feeling the pressure from his party leader, expressed disappointment in the state senators who voted against the new map. He promised to work with Trump to challenge those who he believes are not acting in the best interest of Indiana.

However, Braun’s troubles continued when his tweet was criticized for misrepresenting the number of senators who opposed the bill. California Governor Gavin Newsom added insult to injury by mocking Braun’s loyalty to Trump in a cheeky response to his tweet.

Despite the backlash, Braun did not respond to Newsom’s comment, and his office did not provide any immediate comments to the media. The saga continues as political tensions rise in Indiana over redistricting issues. following sentence: “The dog ran quickly through the park.”

“The dog sprinted through the park at high speed.” text in a more concise way. Given the opportunity, he would choose to stay at home rather than going out.
