Owens Criticizes Erika Kirk in Recent Interview
In a recent interview, Candace Owens discussed text messages she had exchanged with Charlie, shedding light on the ongoing controversy surrounding their communication. Owens expressed frustration with being accused of lying and defended herself by revealing the text messages in question.
She highlighted the pattern of attacks she faces when attempting to set the record straight, stating, “Their strategy is to attack me for telling the truth and saying, ‘How dare you reveal a personal text message to defend yourself from being called a liar?’ We can keep going here.”
This isn’t the first time Owens has confronted Erika Kirk, as she previously called her out for exhibiting what she termed “Meghan Markle syndrome.” Owens referenced a video clip of Kirk referring to Charlie as “my husband” and expressing a desire for privacy regarding his burial site.
“On its face, I actually agree with that,” Owens remarked. “I think that when people are being buried and where they’re being buried and how their funerals are done, that is a very private matter. However, given the circumstances surrounding Charlie’s assassination, this behavior may be perceived as Meghan Markle syndrome.”
Owens elaborated on her comparison, noting the inconsistency in seeking privacy while also seeking publicity. She emphasized the importance of maintaining a balance between private matters and public attention.
