CNN’s conservative commentator Scott Jennings criticized House Democrats on the Oversight Committee and ranking member Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) for trying to link President Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein. Jennings accused them of not caring about justice or victims, but only about making the public believe that Trump was involved.

The Oversight Committee released 19 new photos from Epstein’s estate, featuring Trump, Bill Gates, Woody Allen, and Steve Bannon. Oversight Dems received 95,000 new photos from Epstein’s estate, raising more questions about Epstein and his relationships with powerful men.

When asked about the photos, Trump responded by downplaying their significance, stating that many people have photos with Epstein and that he knows nothing about it.

Garcia is urging the Justice Department to release all Epstein material to bring justice to the survivors and end the cover-up. Jennings advised patience, implying that the truth will eventually come out. He criticized the Democrats for selectively choosing photos and manipulating them to tarnish Donald Trump’s reputation in the wake of the Epstein scandal. Jennings emphasized that the focus should be on Epstein, not on Trump, and accused Democrats of using the situation to their advantage. Collins pointed out that photos also implicated prominent Democrats like Bill Clinton and Larry Summers, but Jennings dismissed them as irrelevant “roadkill” in the grand scheme of tying Epstein to Trump. Jennings vehemently defended Trump, stating that there is no credible evidence linking him to any wrongdoing in the case. He highlighted the fact that Trump actually signed the release of the files into law. Van Jones sarcastically remarked that Trump only did so under immense pressure.
