Walter Cronkite, known as “the most trusted man in America” during his time as the anchor of the CBS evening news, has been pictured with Jeffrey Epstein in recently released photos by the federal government. The images depict the legendary newsman, who covered historic events such as the JFK assassination and the moon landing, sitting in a room with Epstein and another unidentified man. In the photos, Walter is engaged in conversation with Epstein and the other individual, who is seated on a couch.
The scene shows a relaxed setting with a tray of food and drinks, as well as magazines spread out on ottomans. There is nothing controversial or questionable happening in the photos, and no other individuals are present in the images. CBS News has stated that the photos appear to be from 2007, when Walter was 90 years old, just a couple of years before his passing.
It is worth noting that in 2008, Epstein pleaded guilty to state charges related to solicitation of prostitution and solicitation of prostitution with a minor under the age of 18. However, there is no indication that Cronkite had any knowledge of Epstein’s criminal activities. The photos serve as a snapshot in time, capturing a moment between two individuals without any implications of wrongdoing on Cronkite’s part.
The Department of Justice recently released a trove of documents related to Epstein’s case, featuring other well-known figures such as Bill Clinton, Kevin Spacey, Michael Jackson, and Diana Ross. These revelations have shed light on the extensive network of individuals connected to Epstein and his illicit activities.
