CBS News has stated that the photos appear to be from 2007, when Walter was 90 years old, just a couple of years before his passing.
It is worth noting that in 2008, Epstein pleaded guilty to state charges related to solicitation of prostitution and solicitation of prostitution with a minor under the age of 18. However, there is no indication that Cronkite had any knowledge of Epstein’s criminal activities.
