Former “Mighty Ducks” star Shaun Weiss recently took to social media to offer help to Tylor Chase, a former child actor known for his role on the Nickelodeon series “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide.” Chase gained attention after a viral video surfaced showing him homeless and living on the streets of Riverside, Calif.

In a video shared on his Instagram, Weiss expressed his concern for Chase and stated that he, along with some friends, has arranged a bed for him at a detox facility and a long-term treatment program. However, the challenge now is to locate Chase, as Weiss is not currently in Los Angeles to search for him personally. He urged anyone who can reach Chase to contact him so they can provide him with the necessary assistance in time for the holidays.

Chase, known for his role as Martin Qwerly on “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide,” has also appeared in shows like “Everybody Hates Chris” and the indie film “Good Time Max” alongside James Franco.

The viral video of Chase showcases him clarifying his television credits, stating that he was on Nickelodeon’s “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide.” This moment sheds light on the plight of former child actors and the challenges they may face after leaving the spotlight.

Weiss, famous for his role as goalie Greg Goldberg in the “Mighty Ducks” film series, has been vocal about his journey to sobriety. In 2022, he celebrated his two-year anniversary of sobriety, emphasizing the message that recovery is possible.

The heartwarming gesture from Weiss towards Chase highlights the importance of supporting one another, especially in times of need. It serves as a reminder of the impact kindness and compassion can have on someone’s life, particularly when faced with difficult circumstances. Let us hope that Chase receives the help he needs and that his story inspires others to lend a helping hand to those in need.
