Trump’s Big New York Rally Has Been A Racist, Sexist, Freak Show

The recent rally held by Donald Trump at Madison Square Garden has been described as a vanity event that showcased a collection of racist and sexist remarks that are unfortunately becoming synonymous with his presidential campaign.

The event started off with a racist comedian making derogatory comments about Puerto Ricans, black people, and Latinos, setting the tone for what was to come. Following this, a parade of New York House Republicans took the stage, all proclaiming that New York is Trump country, despite him only receiving 37% of the vote in the state in 2020.

Speaker Mike Johnson attempted to rally the crowd with promises of victory, but his lack of conviction was evident. Vivek Ramaswamy made controversial claims that millennials are depressed and suicidal due to their belief in climate change and woke ideology.

The event also featured appearances from Tulsi Gabbard and RFK Jr., but it was Tucker Carlson who stole the spotlight with his continued obsession with young girls. JD Vance, Trump’s running mate, also addressed the crowd, adding to the bizarre atmosphere of the rally.

Originally scheduled to speak much earlier, Trump finally took the stage well into the third hour of the event. What was meant to be a demonstration of New York’s love for Trump turned into a spectacle that highlighted the extremism and out-of-touch nature of the MAGA movement.

Unlike Kamala Harris, who held multiple events throughout the day in Pennsylvania, Trump chose to host a self-indulgent rally in a state where he has little chance of winning. This event only served to further alienate Trump from the American mainstream and reinforce the perception of his campaign as a circus of oddities.

As the event unfolded, it became clear that Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden was not a celebration of his popularity, but rather a display of the divisive and extreme views that have come to define his presidency.
