Las Vegas performer Erik Martonovich recently spoke out in an exclusive interview with The California Post about the death of California socialite Tatyana Remley, who was infamous for putting out a hit on her husband before taking her own life. Martonovich expressed no remorse upon hearing about her death and even questioned the circumstances surrounding her passing, calling it “sketchy.”
Remley tragically shot herself outside the Princess Pub & Grille in San Diego’s Little Italy. The 45-year-old died from a gunshot wound to the head after calling her estranged husband, Mark Remley, from the bar to complain about her new partner. This incident came after Remley was convicted in August 2023 of orchestrating a murder-for-hire plot against her ex-husband, along with other firearm-related charges. She served one year of her nearly four-year prison sentence.
Martonovich, who had previously worked with Remley on a failed equestrian show in 2012, described her as a “narcissistic gold digger” and criticized her lifestyle choices. He recalled the disastrous Del Mar racetrack show “Valitar,” which Remley and her husband abruptly shut down after just five days, leaving performers and their horses stranded in California.
In addition to calling Remley a “moron” in business, Martonovich also revealed that she once made a suggestive proposition to him involving her husband, which he declined. Despite their past interactions, Martonovich expressed surprise and skepticism regarding the circumstances of Remley’s death, suggesting that her phone call to her husband before taking her own life seemed suspicious.
Martonovich also commented on Remley’s partying habits, stating that she was known to indulge in alcohol and other substances. He mentioned that he had moved to Las Vegas to join a production called “Gladius the Show” and had participated in a documentary about the Remleys, where he shared unfiltered opinions about the couple. Martonovich expressed regret that Remley would never get to see the documentary where he spoke negatively about them.
Overall, Martonovich’s candid remarks shed light on the complex and troubled life of Tatyana Remley, offering a glimpse into the darker aspects of her personality and the events that ultimately led to her tragic demise.
