Bill Clinton Demands Release of Epstein Files Mentioning Him
Former President Bill Clinton has called on President Donald Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi to release any remaining materials referring to him in the Jeffrey Epstein case. This comes after both Trump and Bondi hesitated to release the complete Epstein files.
Clinton’s demand for transparency was made in response to suspicions that the Department of Justice’s actions so far have been more about insinuation than transparency. He emphasized that the refusal to release these materials will only confirm these suspicions.
It’s important to note that Bill Clinton has not been publicly accused of any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein and his crimes.
In a surprising turn of events, Ghislaine Maxwell, a close associate of Epstein, revealed to Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche that Clinton was her friend, not Epstein’s. She mentioned that they got along well and that Clinton had a fondness for her. However, she noted that she never saw the same warmth between Clinton and Epstein.
Flight logs have shown that Bill Clinton traveled on Epstein’s plane in the early 2000s for trips related to the Clinton Foundation. Following Epstein’s arrest in July 2019, Clinton’s team released a statement stating that he had no knowledge of Epstein’s alleged crimes and that they had not been in contact for over a decade.
