Royals Enjoying a Relaxed Christmas Break
During the holiday season, the royal family is known for their strict adherence to tradition and protocol. However, recent reports suggest that things may be getting a bit more relaxed behind closed doors.
When they’re not partaking in formal dinners and royal engagements, the royals are said to enjoy more casual activities like board games, soccer, cards, and even beer pong. According to William’s cousin‑in‑law, Mike Tindall, Kate Middleton’s competitive nature really shines through during the drinking game.
“I think things have loosened up a bit since the late queen’s reign,” royal expert Bond shared. “While many family traditions remain, there seems to be a touch more informality with the king and queen consort as hosts.”
One notable absence from the festivities is Prince Harry, who will be celebrating with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children in California. Despite recent tensions within the family, there are signs of a potential thaw in the relationship between William and Harry following a meeting between Harry and Prince Charles in September.
It seems that even the royals are embracing a more relaxed approach to the holiday season, mixing tradition with a bit of modern flair.
