Bravo fans have something exciting to look forward to as the network gears up to celebrate the 20th anniversary of “The Real Housewives” franchise. Executive producer Andy Cohen, known for his role as the host of Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live,” announced the upcoming season titled “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th” at BravoCon. This all-star season will feature a core cast of seven Housewives from seven different cities.
The main cast includes Porsha Williams from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Vicki Gunvalson from “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” Kyle Richards from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Countess Luann de Lesseps from “The Real Housewives of New York City,” Teresa Giudice from “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Gizelle Bryant from “The Real Housewives of Potomac,” and Lisa Barlow from “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.” They will embark on a journey through five different locations where the show has filmed, starting from Orange County to Beverly Hills, then traveling to Atlanta, Miami, and ending in New York City.
Throughout the season, the main cast will be joined by over 60 additional Housewives, including the highly anticipated return of NeNe Leakes. Leakes, known for her iconic role on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” made headlines in 2022 when she filed a lawsuit against NBCUniversal, Bravo, and others for alleged violations of federal employment and anti-discrimination laws. Although she later withdrew the lawsuit, her return to Bravo is highly anticipated by fans.
Leakes rose to fame as part of the original cast of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” in 2008. Her quick wit, memorable catchphrases, and captivating personality made her a fan favorite and a standout star on the network. She also ventured into acting with roles on shows like “Glee” and “The New Normal.” Despite her ups and downs on the show, Leakes left “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” after Season 12 in 2020.
As Bravo prepares to launch “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th” later this year, fans can expect drama, glamour, and plenty of memorable moments from their favorite Housewives.
