Two new faces will be gracing the screen in the upcoming Season 4 of “The White Lotus.” Steve Coogan and Caleb Jonte Edwards have officially joined the cast of the popular HBO series, as reported by Variety.
Details about their characters and the plot of the new season are being kept tightly under wraps, as is typical for the mysterious and intriguing world of “The White Lotus.” Alongside Coogan and Edwards, the previously announced cast includes Alexander Ludwig and AJ Michalka. While there have been rumors circulating about other potential cast members, these are the only confirmed additions so far.
The upcoming season will be set in France, with filming locations in Paris and various spots along the French Riviera. Series creator Mike White serves as the writer, director, and executive producer, with David Bernad and Mark Kamine also on board as executive producers.
For Edwards, this role marks one of his first onscreen credits, following a previous appearance in an episode of the Australian crime drama “Black Snow.”
Coogan, a seasoned comedian and actor, is well-known for his portrayal of the character Alan Partridge in various projects, including the recent “How Are You? It’s Alan (Partridge)” for BBC One. His film credits include roles in popular franchises like “Night at the Museum” and “Despicable Me,” as well as critically acclaimed films such as “Philomena” and “Tropic Thunder.” Coogan not only starred in “Philomena” but also co-wrote it, earning Academy Award nominations for best adapted screenplay and best picture. Additionally, his collaboration with Rob Brydon in “The Trip” series has been a success, with multiple installments released and a new entry, “The Trip to the Northern Lights,” announced in 2025.
Coogan is represented by CAA and Independent Talent Group, while Edwards is represented by Echo Lake Entertainment and Eaton Management.
